BEER

It is a very difficult task to set about recommending beers as there are so many.

Some are light and hoppy others dark and fruity. Some are brewed by large

companies, hundreds of barrels at a time, others are brewed in a five barrel

plant behind a public house, when there is time.

Taste is a particularly individual thing, so what takes my fancy will almost certainly be somewhat different from what you may enjoy.

Never-the-less I shall attempt to convince you that a good pint is almost always worth the time and trouble spent searching it out. All I can hope to do is point you towards some very fine beers, some of which are my personal favourites and some of which I not particularly fond but acknowledge to be an excellent product.

So open up the 'beer' menu and dip in, and then, if you are able, why not patronise a local pub and try what have to offer. Remember a good landlord should be treasured, they are few and far between.
